Nothing is impossible to a willing heart.
This accident happened to me about month ago. My family was going to go to the Mikhailovsky Theater for the premiere of the opera Jewess. It was the project for "Year of France in Russia"` s opening. Despite the significance of the event, it was supposed to be an evening with family and friends - everything was as usual. Before leaving the house, I twirled in front of the mirror: I took my scarlet evening dress from antique wardrobe, as always with delight. Then I took jewelry from a round velvet box. I wore perfectly-made silver earrings with large pearls and a bracelet. High-heeled shoes and perfume completed my image. Finally, I was ready.
It was time to go and I asked my mother when Dad was coming to pick us up. She replied calmly that my father held up at work and he would come directly to the theater, so we would have to go by bus. I was not surprised, because it often happens with him. My mother, my sister and I went to the bus stop, where I met a friend of mine, who at my invitation, also was going to the performance. One thing that made me wonder was that my mother had invited so many friends to this ordinary evening in the theater. She replied with a slight excitement in her voice that she bought 14 tickets, because it was the play of my father! Of course I didn`t believe it and asked again: Mom said that Dad would play in the crowd for several roles. We could not believe it: my father has never been an actor, but I guess it was the dream from his youth.
Thus we saw him in the theater. In some scenes Dad was in the foreground, and even close to the soloists. For each role he had wore different stylish sophisticated costumes, but we still recognized him. I was walking on air! At that moment I realized that I have the best parents on earth: they always taught me that if you want something, be sure to do so. Never be afraid of borders, and try to overcome prejudice. Dad avowed his words on his own experience and now I'm not afraid to try something new, that I`ve never done before! Now I know a man who was a businessman, but when he wanted more from his life, he got it!
